A juried regional show that will seek to broach the subject of Time:
Time is defined as a non-spatial continuum in which events occur in apparently irreversible succession from past through the present and on to the future. But can we feel time pass? How do we reckon with all-powerful, irrevocable time? We have studied time by charting the sun, the moon, the stars, and the tides, but “telling time” can be as subjective as two watches set minutes apart. This exhibition focuses on how we experience time; feeling the flow of days and decades, differentiating between milliseconds and millennia, and grappling with the significance of an hour or an eon.
