Works by Lora Alaniz, Jennifer Beth Guerin,
and Meredith Re'Grimsley
Lora Alaniz's work has been exhibited recently at PlaySpace in San Francisco, Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theater in New York, Prenelle Gallery in London, and Arroyo Arts Collective in Los Angeles. She received a grant from the Tucson/Pima Arts Council for her work in the Arizona Biennial 05 at the Tucson Museum of Art, curated by Siri Engberg from the Walker Art Center. In December of 2005 she was invited to be in the group show "She Objects", curated by Simon Donovan at the Conrad Wilde Gallery in Tucson. Lora has also been in numerous video screenings and film festivals internationally, is a co-founder of "Plugged" a women's video collective, and is currently an instructor at ArtWorks Academy in Tucson. Lora Alaniz received a BFA from the University of Arizona in 2000.
Jennifer Beth Guerin's work has been exhibited in numerous national and international venues including Speakeasy in Kunming, China, Synthetic Zero Loft in New York City, Prenell Gallery in London, Icon Gallery in Phoenix, Sunset Station in San Antonio, and Arroyo Arts Collective in Los Angeles. In December of 2005 she was invited to be in 'She Objects' as well. With Lora, Jennifer is also a co-founder of "Plugged". Jennifer Beth Guerin holds her MFA from the University of Arizona, and her BFA from the University of Texas.
Meredith Re'Grimsley has exhibited her work at the Wayne Art Center in Pennsylvania, the Genema Gallery in Atlanta, the Florida State University Museum of Fine Arts, The Artist's Museum in Washington D.C, and the HAAS Gallery in Bloomsburg, PA. She received her MFA (2002) and BFA (1999) in Fabric Design from the University of Georgia in Athens. She is currently Assistant Professor of Mixed Media at Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania..
